The work is a series of musical tableaux, based on Middle English lyrics and courtly love poetry. The concert will also feature SLSO principal flutist Mark Sparks, and SLSO violist Kathleen Mattis. The program will also include excerpts from Mozart's "Abduction from the Seraglio," Faure's "Piece de Concours," Ibert's "Entracte," and Debussy's "Sonata for Flute.
